An honest confession...

Post by Enkil »

I wish I had never picked up Lovecraft. I am so fucked in the head right now and it all boils down to reading Lovecraft obsessively. Because of him I've fully emerged myself into a world of horror, insignificance, and misery. But, I is who I is I guess. To late to go back now

You always were who you were. Lovecraft may have woken up to the fact, but would you rather have been blind and content or have seen and felt fear and horror? It is a mad choice, but the true man must choose to see, regardless of the dreadful consequences.

Yeah, those are both good points too. You can't say you've laughed until you've laughed the mad laughter of the insane!

At least I derive pleasure from putting myself in the position of Randolph Carter ala his Statement.
