HPLFF accepts The Yawning Abyssm for 2006 premier.

Post by EG_Administration »

The Yawning Abyssm of a Horrible Cosmic Possibility, my film submission to the HPLFF this year, was accepted for premier from the 6th-8th in Portland,OR.

Hazah! :cthulhu1:

Really, i just had to throw that out there. I'm terribly excited, and now have to figure out a way to get from anchorage, AK to portland in the next month for the festival.

well, the film is actually a still animation about a being that awakens to find that its been lost in a transition of time and space. As it travels, it has no idea has to who or what it is, where it came from or where it is going.

it runs about 6 minutes, and will be available to view either at the festival or on a short film collection EG is putting together, called "The Hapless Experiment." I would like to get it online, coupling with the dvd, but I dont have the current capability (no computer), so well see how the year pans out.

There is currently a trailer online at unfilmable.com, as well as a brief synopsis.

How can you have a 1 minute 30secondish trailer for a 6 minute film? This is the more important question.

I want to lock Better Crocker in the kithcen and knock her upper during supper, clutter up her butter gutter. Hostess Ding-Dong wrapped an egg roll around my wong, and Dolly Madison proceeded to ping my pong. Your Milky Way is M&M in your britches, and I'll tell you, Baby Ruth, it looks might delicious. So keep blowing my gum, cause here I come, going to get you all sticky with my Bubble Yum.
