Temple of Dagon story tournament (Voting closed - JP wins!)
Note: Because this round of the contest has ended, the links below are now dead.
Competitors:
Hodgson - "An Anonymous Journal"
Jesus Prime - "Where the Wild Things Are"
Eternities End - "The Void Reaper"
EG Admin - "Requiem of the North"
odin2 - "Raven Mocker"
From now till the 30th, voting will take place. The entrants receiving the fewest votes will be dropped and the remaining two will advance to the final.
In the final, the word limit will be raised to 3000 and will be written from an alien/non-human perspective.
Comments from voters will be welcome but not necessary.

In the space of this afternoon and early evening, I've written what I believe to be a decent story for the contest but it came out to around 2600 words

If not, I suppose I can summarize some parts, but I thought I'd ask.
