lo!

Post by Enkil »

Hey,
I found this site this morning before school, I really like it (or I wouldnt have signed up
 ), and I've been without a forum for a while now so I decided to register.

My history with Lovecraft is actually extremely short, I've only been reading him for around 9 months. In that time I think I've read around 30 works of his, including most of the Great Texts and his essay "Supernatural Horror in Literature". Though the Great Texts have left the greatest impression on me none of them rank amoung my favorites.

I have not dabbled in the Dream Cycle stories yet unfortunatly.

Other than that I'm a great fan of the horror story; movies and video games (Resident Evil, Silent Hill, etc.) and stories.

I played World of Warcraft for over a year as a warlock, but recently gave it up because I found it to destructive to my social life and mind. I wrote the memoirs of my character, but I don't really care for it.

Oh, and I'm 18, from Boston, and plan to study at the University of Edinburgh next year, majoring in Archeology and (hopefully) minoring in Anthropology or Archeolinguistics.

When you get to Edinburgh, you will be "majoring" nothing, you will be "reading" archeology.
And read the dream cycle, even if only for the supreme wonder that is "The Doom That Came To Sarnath".

Thanks for the replies, even if they are a bit odd. I'm not a she though, I'm a he. And I'm not a witch, though if such a thing existed I'd certaintly jump at the chance. :P
