Greetings all!

Since all of the other literary contributors have carved out their own little topicdoms I thought I would follow the herd and do likewise. If anyone wants to leave any criticisms, complaints, accusations, denunciations, castigations, or threats of excommunication for me, this would be the place to do it.

So fire away - I'll just curl up in a fetal position here in the corner and try to protect my vital organs...

Hi Eric,

I just want to say that I think your work is excellent, man! Especially loved "The Temple" and "The Jumping Frenchmen of Main Disorder" and "The Breathing Tombs," but it's all excellent! You're not afraid to insert tongue in cheek, even in serious tales, which reminds me of my own writing.

Speaking of which, hope you read some of my own, which was just posted to the site a week or so ago.

Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Hey Eric -- thanks for the review on In The Eyes Of A Skull. I will get off my ass eventually and write a story exclusive to the website but things are getting busy with trying to get Tabloid Purposes off the ground. There are four Cthulhu stories -- contributed by a newcover, then two temple of dagon writers Andrew Ian Dodge and Adrian Sheppard. Their stories in the collection are strong then got one by Ronald E. Wright. Eric got some strong work on here and I know he is going to be a writer to watch. Especially it is good to see another with a DuPage County connection on there.
Online Publishing Company of Cthulhu Mythos Writer, NICKOLAUS A. PACIONE. Dirty Black Winter is out now the career spanding collection. An Eye In Shadows is available on Amazon.com and Lulu.com.

Hey, I'm reading "The Breathing Tombs" and liking it so far. However part way through it I found a small error you may wish to correct:
"It does indeed," I responded agreeably, "Mainly in the form of putting others beneath it." Although I could not normally be seen as physically threatening by the average working class fellow, I still decided to toss out a slightly threatening clue regarding my new position. I couldn't resist the temptation to appear both crytic[sic] and dangerous to the patrons of the establishment. It may have been unwise to take such liberties with strangers of a low-brow nature. However, quite frankly, I felt that a gravedigger is by nature a rather intimidating figure and I would be doing my new vocation a disservice by failing to by be at least a mite dark and menacing.
I'm pretty certain you meant "cryptic" but no big deal. Otherwise the story's interesting so far. You've got a good form, especially in respect to the challenges of a short story. You lay down enough introduction to get the story going, and proceed directly to plot development. So far very satisfying.
Edit:
Actually I found another one, I won't paste the whole paragraph since I don't want to spoil the story for anyone, but search for "Floatsam." I think you meant "Flotsam."

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sorry about the typoes. Normally I run my stories through a spell-checker, but I must have neglected to do so in this case.

I really appreciate the comment. Generally its impossible for me to know how many people start reading my stories, how many actually bother to read them all the way through, or what their opinions of them are. It gets a bit disheartening.

Even comments like "It was way too long and I got bored after the first two paragraphs" would be better than nothing.

Well rest assured I read every word, and I really liked the entire thing. I'd give you more constructive criticism but I honestly can't think of any. It was just plain good.

I don't want to seem obnoxious or anything, but I thought I would just mention that one of my stories has been selected for inclusion in the Undead Anthology.

It's not technically a Cthulhu mythos story, so its not posted on this site. If you want to read it, you'll have to get the book, hehe.

However, I still listed http://www.templeofdagon.com as a reference web site on my bio :)
