Having a problem with MKV file to dvd burning?

Question: this is the second time it does this i try to convert mkv to dvd that i downloaded from the internet, you know how it says when burning.converting proccess, mixing proccess, creating proccess, and writing proccess.well when its burning it goes all the way to 100% but except the writing proccess，one it doesnt burn it just stays in 0% and it wont start?!? can you please help me i have no idea whats wrong...i have already burned with this before and this time，its just not working! Can any one show me How to convert mkv to dvd disc or dvd folder?
