has anyone bought or played this game yet?

i like it a lot. very different from the first few games.
and there are NO zombies. wtf.

but thats ok.
there are many abominations and tentacles to satisfy.

your thoughts?

I have never played any of them. I think I saw a friend play the first one once

I did watch the 2nd movie the other day. It was ok.. nothing super special, but I liked it.

I like the game so far, but I refuse to watch the movie, as the first one was awful.

The movies absolutely suck. The timeline and characters are messed up and everything sucks so bad. But I have the amped Resi 1 on Gamecube and the sequels, I am a fan of it and know the storyline by heart. Resi 4 should be great, if it reaches the Baltic shores some time in the future. The movies ruin the games for newcomers. Resi isn't about action, it's about fear and surviving. A lot like HPL's stories I think.

yup.

i'm all about some King Diamond and Cthulhu.
i'm a member of a lot of boards. but temple of dagon and king are the one i frequent the most.

now mind you, i frequent the old king diamond board not the "new" "official" one.
