Hello & An Offer for Fellow HPL Fans

Post by hokusbloke »

Hi there...my name is Neil Gardner, and apart from being a massive HPL fan, I am also a radio producer & director.

A few weeks ago BBC Radio 7 broadcast a new serial adaptation of At the Mountains of Madness read by Richard Coyle, which I produced through my independent production company, Ladbroke Productions (Radio) Ltd. We've had some lovely feedback from fans and non-fans alike. It took me quite a few years to persuade the BBC to commission an HPL, so I am rather chuffed by it all.

We've decided to release the series as an extended audiobook edition as a download, along with a series of Lovecraft short stories read by Rupert Degas. There were so many people who couldn't or didn't get to hear it when it was broadcast. This audio edition has 30 mins of extra material put back in that had to be chopped for the radio durations. Sadly this is still a heavily abridged version of AtMoM, but I am still proud of it.

Until the end of next week I would like to offer Temple of Dagon visitors 10% off both titles. Check out the titles and see what you think!

You can preview all the audio online, so do please try before even considering buying...no hard sell here. I hope you enjoy the audios. They are a very British take on HPL, but considering he was such an Anglophile, I hope he won't mind!

And if you have any thoughts on what other HPL could/should be made in to audio, do please let me know. I am always looking for new ideas and inspiration.

Many thanks for allowing me to take up your time like this. More HPL on the radio can only be a good thing, eh?

Warmest wishes to one and all

Neil :-)
