Server Down-Time

You may of noticed the server was down for a long while yesterday. Actually every account on my host was affected by this, as well as many other servers.

The problem was the VA Department of Transportation (Northern Virginia) accidentally cut some fiber optic (OC-48 and OC-12, and also a trunk terminating into the primary datacenter). The cut was so close to the hosts primary datacenter that the back-up connections were severed as well.

All should be good now though! :)
