Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth Video game

Post by TheEdge »

If you havent played this game on Xbox or PC I would suggest getting up right now, walking out the door, get in a mode of transportation, and find a gaming store ASAP.

This is by far the best game since "Necronomicon" and it truly captures the atmosphere and action which is lovecraft. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Necronomicon is a point and click game which even though its kind of dated in graphics is still a rocking game that I think everyone should take a look at.

Call of Cthulhu:Dark corners of the earth is totally amazing and they really got all the monsters right. The scene when the flying polyps come from beneath is almost mind blowing.

My system is ok in general, P4 with 1gb ram, etc. Is only a problem of compatibility, I'm not alone with this problem and the only solution is change the graphic card, that sucks!

Yea thats what it looks like but if you have a P4 and 1 gb ram I would definitley try to update your drivers before you take the plunge of getting a new card

Yes. Agreed with everything in post #1.

This is one of my favorite games ever. SO EPIC. The three best scenes: When you're just wandering around Innsmouth--they got the atmosphere RIGHT ON--when you go into the Marsh Refinery and get SCARED SHITLESS by the shoggoth, and when you're fighting the polyps. Because those things were done perfectly.

I acctully borrowed the game from a friend, and iv been trying to find a spare moment to play it, it sounds like I need to get my hide in gear. I was very dissapointed to hear they killed the sequel. I would have loved to have seen more games like this one.
