Monsters list

Post by Impaler »

Can someone post just simple list of humanoid creatures in CoC Mythos? It would be great ito contain short descriptions. Especially interested in humanoid beasts, which can be two times bigger than human. I've just found ghouls, zombies, deep ones (with hybrids), shoggots (in a human form). Are there more?

I really prefer to focus on the written work itself, not really the card games. I assume this is what you are referring to.

Although I play a bit Yu-Gi-Oh I wish that card games would be kept apart from the literatury works myself.

I think the signifigant things in the mythos are those which authors have created, and more specifically, more influential writers of the mythos. Some here will say only Lovecraft though :)

Any random company can come up with a new play book, creatures (or whatever) for a card game ;) Where is the fun in that? hehe

What would be really nifty would be a list of all the books mentioned in the mythos. I personally have invented a few in my time. Surely a good source for this sort of info is the Encyclopedia Cthuliana?

BTW: My book is well along to be published. I have been asked to put together a review list for the publisher. Rather nifty stuff.

(Sorry for posting this in two separate topics, but it seemed relevant...)

Not exactly on topic, but I just updated my Lovecraft Bestiary (http://www.unfilmable.com/Lovecraft_bestiary.html) and wanted to show it off! :)

It contains a few of the Lovecraft created creatures (including ghouls and deep ones) that have appeared in film and TV adaptations...

Can anyone think of anything I missed, or direct me to some pics?

Take care,
