yep
i went into my school library today because my english teacher says to "get a book of literary merit"
i actually chose "slaughter house 5" before, but i wasnt getting into it, so i went back to get a new book
and i saw dracula, which i've read about a billion times, and i asked the librarian "is dracula a book of literary merit?"
he says "well, kinda. what kind of books are you into?"
i answer, "well, horror, thrillers, adventures...that kind of stuff"
he says "follow me. Have you ever read this? This author is amazing"
he picked up a collection of HP lovecraft
i immediately freaked out "OH YAY I LOVE LOVECRAFT!!!"
hes like "oh, ok..."
he eventually got me a flannery o'conner book. but when he was checking out that book, i asked him how he got into lovecraft
he says "well, i was living alone in the woods in alaska, and i went into town when i got bored into this bookstore. i picked up a couple lovecraft books, and went back home and read both of them in the same day. that night, i couldnt fall asleep, because i kept on hearing noises in the woods and thought 'AH THEYRE COMING TO GET ME!!'"

i was very happy to see someone like him that was actually into HP lovecraft
because my english teacher doesnt even know who he is!
