Need help on essay
So before I can write my lovecraftian horror masterpiece for my portfolio, I have to write this really stupid essay on Frankenstein, which is one of the most dull horror stories imo. The topic is that Dr. Frankenstein is the true antagonist, but I cannot think of a title, help me out :D
i usually find it easier to give a title to something after it's been written. a lot of times you can just pull a phrase out of the writing and use that.
A monkey riding a dog is probably the awesomest thing that could ever happen.

idk I find it easy to come up with a title first when writing a story, but with an essay its always good to have a sweet and catchy title...cant think of one for Frankenstein though...

How about:
The Monster's Monster
or
His Own Image--playing from this passage:
"God, in pity, made man beautiful and alluring, after his own image; but my form is a filthy type of yours, more horrid even from the very resemblance." The idea would be that the evil appearance of the creature is a reflection upon the evil of his maker.

Remember, 'Frankenstein' is perhaps the first modern horror story.
It's not at all dull, the style is simply slower than modern works.
Victor has the best motives, but he fails to face what he has done, and in that act of cowardice, destroys himself and everyone he loves.
Herbert West is a lift from the original-bringing it up to date, as 'twere.
Respect the classics, when you understand them, much is explained.
