At Amazon.com

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... ce&s=books

I am glad you asked for the Simon necronomicon, as it is a real book. Of course it is just based off the fictional necronomicon since there is no 'real' one. Lovecraft just made it up for his writings :)

You seem to allready know this, which is good.. It really disturbs me to hear people think it is real, and that it truely explains how to conjure up all sorts of things ;)

I bought my first copy of Simon's Necronomicon at a used bookstore for 25 cents about 15 years ago. It is corny, but I like it.

odin2: "about" might be too strong a word to use to describe this book :P

It is not really "about" anything.. just a lot of random text :P

Actually, its really not just random text.

The Simon Necronomicon is a rather good quasi-realistic exploration of Ancient Sumerian magics. The author also includes some material that he believes links this Sumerian sorcery with Lovecraft's Necronomicon.

Personally, I thought that the book was interesting, but calling it the Necronomicon was rather lame. Its really just Sumerian sorcery augmented with Ptolemaic cosmology and elements of European ceremonial magic.
