Pfft . . . that guy couldn't even play a kazoo. It was just rotating-magnetic-fields this and high-Q-helical-resonators that, and blah blah blah.

And what are we supposed to do with this? Besides, the last two are tied.

You're supposed to be updated by it. And ties are allowed. We'll deal with it.

These results depress me. Then again, I missed the voting (stupid fecking BT) for most of them, so it's my own fault - especially "Haunter of the Dark" since it was so close.
What inspired the pairings?

Alphabetical order. Pretty clever, eh?

By the way, I set each poll to run for 3 days. I wasn't sure from your earlier post whether you'd changed them to run longer--I thought the 3rd ended yesterday. It doesn't matter--the 3 days was arbitrary to begin with--but I've unmarked those previously marked as winning, just in case.

Otherwise, I'll be online tomorrow afternoon or the next day and I can mark up the winners then. And add some new pairings.

I'm assuming all the polls have expired (no way to tell, although I set them for 3 days).

So, in the case of ties, I'll advance both stories to the next round and there'll be a 3-way poll. In the meantime, I'll try to update everything and add the remaining 8 polls.

Also, the new polls will allow 14 days for voting. We might be a little more likely to avoid ties that way.

I'd say 10 or even 7 would do, to be honest.

I don't think I can change it now that I've voted in most of them. But when it looks like we've had all the votes, I'll go ahead and start the next round from the top of the list. By the time we've gone through the first few (of the next round), these polls will have expired.

But I'll set the next polls for 7 days.
