MY problem with Dark Corners is that nothing happens for soooooooo long. You see a yithian at the beggining, but then you don't get a gun until way the flip later. It makes you really mad at Lovecraft for not writing more about KILLING deep ones and not RUNNING AWAY from them. What a jerk.

And Triffids are lame. If you want a REAL plant monster... you call up Ms. Biollante and she WILL rock your world.

Hmph... trifids.

Also, uh, so how exactly is the Thing mythos related? Was Campbell friends with HPL or something? That story wasn't written until the year after HPL died. What is the connection, I don't understand!?
