Or, on the other hand, don't. Horrible film based on a horrible book, replete with horrible acting - and even bad lighting. Waste of time, waste of money, and a damn waste of Jesus.

I thought the book was entertaining, though nothing extraordinary.

Even more entertaining is watching the Church spend enormous amounts of effort and money on debunking fiction.

Or stopping it from looking like they are.
Everyone who's read the Bible knows that there are relatives of Jesus somehwere in history. The bloodline might be dead now, but he had brothers and sisters, you know. They're explicitly mentioned in Mark's Gospel. So if you believe in Jesus, believe in his relatives.

Hang on, I'll find a rant I posted on another forum on the DaVinci code.
I wrote:Dan Brown has become possibly the most popular author around by rehashing already-extant ideas, cobbled together with a grasp of the English language comparable to Queequeg's. And the blockbuster film adaption is going to make him even more money. My beef with all that? As a Trotskyist and a beleiver in the idea of karma and balanced luck, I like to think that people should (yes, I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one - I hope some day you'll join us, and the world will live as one) make as much money and enjoy as much happiness as they deserve, and when you look at the lives of authers like Poe, Lovecraft, Hemmingway, and Howard, etcetera ad infinitum, who were infintely more talented than Brown could ever wish to be, a little bit of me dies inside.

£0.02

No, it's about 5 or 6 cents at the minute, I think. The pound sterling is the strongest currency. Yours is pathetic in comparison.
