Best month ever

Post by Aleister »

The number of unique visitors for August is over 15 thousand so far! This is the highest month ever for the Temple of Dagon domain. Keep in mind that this is not the number of hits or visits, but rather the actual number of different people who have seen the site.

This is a large jump even from last month. The numbers are looking better and better!

My thanks goes out to everyone who has helped out :)

The tricky thing is, getting them to interact more ;) But I am working on that.

Exactly. We must have something special that differs us from tons of other Mythos sites available there 8)

I don't know why, but it seems like the vast majority of web surfers prefer to lurk.

I run one web site (not the one you're thinking of) that pulls in over 1,000 hits per week. Not bad considering the site is for an organization of about 12,000 members. The forum I set up late last year has over 100 registrants so far, but only about 5 use it regularly, and probably fewer than a dozen have posted anything at all.

I just hit 16000 for this month (it sure seems to be picking up pace which is good). And so far this month I have had just over 500,000 hits. That is for my whole domain though. I have several other (less traffic) sites. But I am not bragging :P

Forums especially can be quite hard to get really going from my experience. I think we are doing good here, and getting better. I love to see new posts :)

I guess that is the case though (lurking). I am hoping people take advantage of the comment system on the authors and artists pages though. I don't want you all to start loosing intrest because you think no one cares ;)

That is very cool. I have managed to mention this site on my blog and blogcritics as well. BC gets a great deal of hits, so its good to plug it there.
