Guillermo Del Toro's In the Mountains of Madness

Post by tsathoggua »

Just the other day I read this interview with Del Toro about how he was planning to make In the Mountains of madness into a film, there wasn't anything conclusive (dates or anything) so i'd say it's a while in the making still, particularly since he's making the hobbit at the moment, does anyone know anything more about this?

I have to agree with you on that, I think if anyone could do a good lovecraft adaptation it's del toro, some of the stuart gordon films were just a huge let down, they were really cheesy i especially disliked dreams in the witchhouse, when I read the story I didn't picture Brown Jenkins as this goofy faced little thing I pictured him being a little more creepy than he was portrayed
