I bring you good tidings, my friends.

Post by Enkil »

It's been a while. I've never completely abandoned this board, lurk here a few times a week. I've just grown out of Lovecraft; truthfully, I've become frightened by the distinct possibility that HPL was a prophet. Perhaps I'll start posting around more.

To the faces new to me, I bring you warning. If you are young, and are just getting into Lovecraft, beware. The man can warp your reality if you fall deep enough in. On occasion I still howl out 'YOOOG-SOOTHOOOTH' on windy, gray days when I feel the call.
That is all.

I've mostly abandoned writing, much regretably, but I've taken up painting and seem to be doing quite well at it. Reading the 007 novels and Stephen King (The Stand + Swine Flu = shit your pants relevance).

I end this post with an inspirational message to all: The only thing standing between us and our Olympic dreams is that we're out of shape, apathetic and incapable of passing a drug test.

Oh, Enkil. That sucks you've fallen out of writing, but at least you've got a lot of good artwork :D

I was beginning to fear that the youngest of the board [me] would have to teach the new ones [like navaha xDD just kidding man, ily] how to act.

But hopefully you'll start posting here again. As you can see this forum has fallen out of lovecraft-related topics. and is just insanity because of the lack of mods.
