New to the site [Intoduction]

Post by Serafim »

A couple of months ago, I was doing an online search through a list of horror authors on my local library's website. As I was browsing by the usual, I spied an author that I had never heard of before.

That author was H.P. Lovecraft. I borrowed the book, and as I started to read, I realized I had found my favorite author.

I'm generally new the the mythos, and I'm here to learn more. I also write myself, and I am looking for some critique for that as well.

I'm looking forward to becoming a regular contributor to the the site, and to making some new friends with the same interests. :-D

If you want to, add me on yahoo messenger. my screen name is revinin87.

Should've never put contact info, man. They're gonna think you're a child predator.

lol.
I'm no predator. I'm just here to talk about Lovecraft's writing, and such. If you really think I'm a predator, then hell, just don't add me.

Welcome man. Don't know how helpful this place will be now-a-days, but maybe if you make a few topics and try to eliminate any possible jokes you might get a few serious responses.

I think the turning point was when you became too old to catch them if they tried to run away...

Nah, odin. You give serious responses, most people do. Just not all the time. I think this forum is at a point where we've discussed most everything serious and now just fall bak and cheap topics and half hearted coups against JP.

it's because we're a wee merry band of outcasts who can't function in proper web society. we have the knowings and the thinkings, but we don't overuse them

I like to think that we are the only ones who DO over use them...

Regardless, I'm happy to be here. This forum seems definitively more intelligent than others I've been too.
