I don't love everybody. JP love is a valuable commodity. Welcome a board. Welcome two boards.

Recent studies show that shiny pennys cure blindness.

hahahaha... oh man... that board stuff is a riot. hahahaha. that's me laughing back there, or could you tell?

Say, since you're just startin' let me say this: LOOKOUT!

No, but really, READ THOSE LITTLE SHORT DREAM CYCLE THINGS FIRST!

Seriously, they may be tedious and (mostly) boring, but it'll be worth it when your reading Dream-Quest and you actually know what's going on. A luxury i truly wish i had.

ALSO! Mountains of Madness is really long, but it goes really fast because he talks about precambrian stuff and it's funny and also cool when you think about how little everyone knew about anything back in the day. To consider that life existed in precambrian time in those days was like... i don't know, actually, but it might have been cutting edge.

But, either way its fun to read about important and cool things while passing the time rather than a long string of adjectives that AREN'T applied to monsters (damn, i get it, it's an old book!).

What else... don't read the outsider. In fact, im gonna ruin it for you: the guy's a zombie in a castle and thats why nobody loves him. wah wah wah.

And as SOON as you get enough HPL in you, rush right out and get Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos and read these:

Hounds of the Tindalos
Space-Eaters
Notebook Found in a Deserted House
Shambler from the Stars
Shadow from the Steeple
Black Stone (if you truly have nothing else to do)
Salem Horror (don't listen to those haters, this is the only story that's ever made me feel cold)
Dweller In Darkness

Basically, most of the beggining of the book. That's the best stuff. After that, opinions differ far too much for you to listen to me, but personally, the best post-derleth stuff is Ramsey Campbell, SOME Lin Carter (stuff about Ghat'), Gary Myers, that story about cthugha by John Glasby, and get some of those Chaosium books about various specific monsters. THey are put together so that by the end of the book you think alot more has happened than actually has (in that each story is afraid of itself but as a whole there is tons of cool scenes of monsters fighting, eating, and being awesome).

After that there is but one name... David Conyers. Never before lest in the scribbled hatchery of Derleth have i read of a platoon of tanks attacking an outer god and DOING IT RIGHT! That man is the spawn of Shub-Niggurath i swear to god the goddess of burning children.

Also, some more boards. I cant make small posts, i have to do this!
look at the time... with your eyeballs.

go on now, do it.
