It's the most faithful HPL adaptation I've seen. Last night, I watched the first 15-20 minutes of Beyond the Wall of Sleep, and it was very bad. I couldn't tell you if it was faithful to anything because I couldn't remember a Lovecraft story that resembled what I saw.Rodr-Evil wrote:Hodgson wrote:

Oddly enough, reading the book version of "Some Kind of Monster", I found out that the second Blair Witch film was originally filmed as a piss take of the first, like a self parody. The studio figured gore would sell better and demanded it be heavily re-edited. Something like that.
