When did the Brampton Battalion play their final Ontario Hockey League game ever?
The answer is now in the books March 29, 2013 in a 1 0 overtime loss to the visiting Sudbury Wolves in game five of their best of seven OHL Eastern Conference quarter final series.

But both teams sensed the urgency late in the game and into overtime.
"It seemed like we were worried about not making a mistake," said Battalion assistant coach Ryan Oulahen, who handled the bench with Jason Ward in Butler's absence. "With about five minutes left we got our legs."
deHaan overtime winner came off a broken play. The Sudbury defenceman was in on a rush and got caught in the corner at the Battalion end of the ice. As he headed for the front of the net, the puck squirted loose and he fired it past a sprawling Smith to end the series and the Battalion time in Brampton.
was great for deHaan, smiled Sudbury coach Trent Cull, who watched his team get eliminated by Brampton in four straight last season. thought he played well for us all series. felt that his team gained confidence as the series went on. first game was a testing ground, admitted Cull. that the powerplay started to click and we gained confidence. We learned we could play with them. the Battalion room, the mood was much different.
had a lot of great memories here, said Battalion head coach Stan Butler, who had to watch the action from his office as he served the third of a five game suspension he picked up in game two. enjoyed my time here but my biggest disappointment was not being on the bench for the last game in Battalion history.
