Hi everyone. I'm an artist from Ireland, and for a long time now I've been heavily influenced and inspired by Lovecraft. I thought I'd post some of my pics here for fellow Lovecraft fans to comment on, whether it be positvely or not. Enjoy, or may you be tickled by Nightgaunts. Lol.

Great Cthulhu: Concept

The Call Of Cthulhu: Figurine Of The Swamp Cult
The Call Of Cthulhu: New-Risen R'lyeh
These ones are from a series called The Innsmouth Expedition: Journal.
They're great. I especially like the landscapes and the Necronomicon fragment, but they're all very good. Of the computer art, I like Great Cthulhu the best.
I love the fragments and the journal entries, though you probably shouldn't have done the bloody fingerprint thing because now I know who you are :D jk

This is really cool -- hey Jesus Prime, you looking at some of these because these will make for good artwork for the anthology you're doing. Is there some way you can design a full wrap around cover for the anthology? I will find out more when time goes on when it comes to formatting the project.

try making the image first,painting,collage,ect
then use photoshop?
I don't see any problem with something CGI looking like it was made on a computer.CG has it's own native nuances and tones thate are not achievable in other more traditional ways. It's a distinct medium, and while I'm a total beginner, professional CG artist's work has the kind of uniqueness that sets it apart, in the same way as the work of top artists in other media.
