Getting contacts from an Android phone to my iPhone?

The contacts were probably on your SIM card. You could import them if the SIM was the same, however I suspect the HTC uses a full size SIM, where as the iPhone 4 uses the mini-SIM. Another way would be to transfer the contacts from the HTC to your computer. Not sure what type of software they have that supports that, if they use Outlook, or Address Book, or something different.

And you can also phone to phone transfer program to move contacts from an Androd phone to an iPhone. Just connect the two devices to the computer, and you are free to share files between two devices at ease.
