DORAL, Fla. Remy Cabella Jersey . -- Pat Riley spent part of his Veterans Day on the basketball court. Only problem was, the Miami Heat president wasnt surrounded by the clubs players. So instead, Riley stood at midcourt, microphone in hand and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance while military members and their families packed into bleachers on either side of the gymnasium -- the latest in an ongoing series of tributes the Heat has held for service members and their families in recent years. "Thats why were here," Riley told the crowd. "Were here because of what you do for us and the freedoms we have in this country and freedoms that youre allowing other people to have in other countries. "I cant wait til the day everybody comes back from Iraq and Afghanistan. I cant wait for that day that everybodys back with their families and able to come to Heat games." That day may be next month. Or next year. Either way, the answer should be coming soon. After two more days of talks in New York ended Thursday night, the NBA proposed a deal that would allow for a 72-game season starting Dec. 15. Players are expected to decide to take it or leave it by early next week. "Ive had enough," Riley said of the waiting game that comes with the lockout. "Ive waited long enough. I think we all have." Since 2006, the Heat have honoured military personnel in a number of ways, whether its welcoming returning veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan at home games or last years move to hold training camp at a pair of U.S. Air Force installations in Floridas Panhandle. Riley indicated that may happen again in the future. And the teams community-relations side has tried to keep the Heat brand visible in South Florida while the lockout continues. Still, there are some days boredom is unavoidable. Riley claimed hes become the No. 1 gin rummy and backgammon player in the Heat offices during the lockout, and professed that his new look -- a silvery goatee -- is as good as the one team owner Micky Arison has had for years. "The day that we start," Riley said, "this thing is history." He hopes to be shaving soon enough. And when the time comes, he said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra and the rest of the staff will be ready to start moving very quickly to prepare for an abbreviated season. "Right now we have one of the greatest bases of fans in the league and I think theyre patiently waiting," Riley said. "Theyve supported us. "Were supporting them. And we just hope that were going to be able to deliver to them the same thing we delivered last year, which is exciting basketball. Weve got some great, great, great talent, great players and we cant wait to get it going again." Franck Ribery France Jersey . Ralph Wilson was the founder and only owner of the franchise. He died March 25 at the age of 95. The team says "A process will be established at an appropriate time for the sale of the franchise. " The Bills also announced that CEO Russ Brandon, general manager Doug Whaley and coach Doug Marrone will remain in charge of football operations under the new ownership. Ralph Wilson founded the Bills when the American Football League began play in 1960 and was a major factor in the merger of the AFL and NFL that was completed in 1970. He long expressed no desire to leave the team to his family, and this announcement is the first step in whats likely a lengthy path to new ownership. The team said in a statement: "This process will ensure that the club complies and is faaithful to NFL rules and to its obligations to New York State and Erie County. Eliaquim Mangala France Jersey. We plan to have detailed discussions with the NFL, the state and county, and others as we determine the timing and structure of any sales process." A 20-member committee called the New Stadium Working Group recently met to discuss whether the Bills should build a new stadium, or whether Ralph Wilson Stadium should be renovated. The current stadium lease expires in 2022. The Bills are essentially locked into playing at Ralph Wilson Stadium through 2019 under terms of a 10-year lease agreement they reached with state and county governments in December 2012. The deal features a $400 million penalty the Bills would have to pay in the event a court ruled in favour of the team breaking the lease and relocating. In 2020, however, the Bills have a one-time opportunity to opt out of the lease for about $28 million. cheap jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys ' ' '
