Note to all those hearing a persistent "thump" upon reading this analogy.
It's Tolkien, spinning in his grave, that anyone would ever use his writing in this way.
And by the way, are there any of Santorum's immediate family serving in any military capabailities on the front lines of Iraq and Afghanistan?
My bet would be absolutely none.
For this man, and as for so many others in Congress, it's always other people's kids who should fight, sicken, get maimed, and die.
