The Temple of Dagon

I finally got around to adding a basic rank system to the forum just for fun.

There are 9 levels (not including moderators and the admin). They are currently:

0-10 posts - "Newbie"
10-20 posts - "10+ Posts"
20-30 posts - "20+ Posts"
.......
80+ posts - "80+ Posts"

It also shows a little bar graph. Anyway, the titles are not very imaginative.

Anyone want to come up with a good list of titles, and their corresponding post amounts?

1-10: Neophyte
10-20: Scholar
20-30: Librarian
30-40: Studier Of Dark Arts
40-50: Charles D. Ward
50-60: Ghoul
60-70: Lich
70-80: Sorcerer
80-90: Keeper Of The Silver Key
90-...: The Messenger

Something like that maybe?

Some good ideas... even if I do not use all of those I will certainly use some

btw, the levels don't have to be every 10, thats just what I put up there for now. I think it might be better to have them further apart as you go up, know what I mean?

Yeah, like first is 1-15 because most registrated users dont bother posting more than they need to anyway.
Then like 16-45 and 46-70 and so on?

Yeah, Adrian had some pretty good ones However, I think if you do over a thousand or so you should be able to reach the level of "Primordial Evil"

And somewhere below Neophyte should be something like "Mi-Go Brain-Bait"

Maybe like

0-15, 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 300, 500, 1000

1000 posts is an awful lot though, but it would give people something to shoot for lol

Some Lovecraft titles would work:

Alchemist
Descendant
Evil Clergyman
Haunter of the Dark
Reanimator
Lurking Fear
Terrible Old Man
Whisperer in Darkness

Hard to beat Mi-Go Brain Bait tho'

I will try to come up with a mix of all the suggestions and put it up tomorrow Thanks for the ideas!

Ok, here's what I am going with (for now).

0-9 = Mi-Go Brain-Bait
10-24 = Neophyte
25-49 = Scholar
50-99 = Librarian
100-149 = Occultist
150-199 = Reanimator
200-299 = Lurking Fear
300-499 = Haunter of the Dark
500+ = Primordial Evil

Once a lot of people start getting a good number of posts, I may adjust the numbers a bit.
