If some of you do not know what a Gmail account is, it is a free web-based email service from Google.com.

It is currently invite-only, and it features 1 gigabyte of space, and a great unique interface.

So you can't use folders to store old messages in gmail?

No folders. You can setup labels for messages though. I believe you can setup multiple labels on particular emails as well.

So you could select a "Whatever" label, and also a "Something" label. You can search based off the labels too, which can be used just like folders, with the ability to have things exist under multiple categories.

Well then count me in the running. Sounds useful!

i gave my gmai account to my brother, and now i wish i had it back. so, here's hoping for a new one!
