it starts off being cool and interesting, but then it turns into total math without any plain-english payoff (unless i skimmed over it because it was buried in math).. but they should have said 'it would take the explosive force of eight million hydrogen bombs' or 'twenty seven billion jumbo jets crashing into a single point at full speed' or something like that.

but thanks for the beginning part anyway

here is a site that ridicules movies for their unrealistic depictions of physics.. it also has math, but they try to explain for laymen too

they should make another 'revenge of the nerds' movie with the tri-delt chapter at miskatonic university. does miskatonic have jocks? or just less-spindly nerds who could antagonize the plucky heroes?
