Stage a "Slay-out." Don't go to work. Listen to Slayer.
Have a huge block party that clogs up a street in your neighborhood. Blast Slayer albums all evening. Get police cruisers and helicopters on the scene. Finish with a full-scale riot.
Spray paint Slayer logos on churches, synagogues, or cemeteries.
Play Slayer covers with your own band (since 99% of your riffs are stolen from Slayer anyway).
Kill the neighbor's dog and blame it on Slayer.

slayer and cannibal corpse might play respectable music, but some segment of their fan base (at least around here) thinks it's actually cool to mutilate small animals and pin them to things in public places with band logos retardedly represented in blood or knife marks. i'm sure you fine people in present company are not affiliated with such demented bastardry, but i don't know if i'll ever be able to give those bands a fair chance because of it

Can't say I ever saw that segment when I lived in SoCal (Camp Pendleton), but I don't doubt it happens. My bet is the assholes who think that shit is cool would do it no matter what bands they listened to.

Umm... Next year it's not on. It's a centennial event.
And Cannibal Corpse are FAR better than Slayer in every regard. I'll take "Hammer Smashed Face" over "Reign In Blood" any day.
