I think the western gamers mentality towards pvp has changed. The old mmo's used to force people to pvp and people just got on with it, those that were bad got better and those that were better got more Cheap Riders of Icarus Gold You were rewarded for pvp and they connected pvp and pve together so those that wanted to pve ran the risk of pvp so it kept them on their toes.

Now everyone wants world bosses and world familiars instanced so they can just brainlessly kill everything without fear of being killed themselves. Essentially those that hate pvp generally hate is because they can't tank a spank a human like they can a boss and they find pvp incredibly difficult because it requires you to actually think.

PVE is great don't get me wrong, I love farming for gear but the problem is when I have the best gear available, then what? Carry on running the dungeons for gear I already have?

The solution to this is simple, create a level 35 pvpve map with very high paying quests, awesome rare familiars and world bosses that drop high end materials. This will encourage those who like to pve to venture into the zone after the juicy loot and at the same time give the pvp players plenty of targets to kill.

Those that run dungeons are rewarded with pve gear and those that pvp are rewarded with pvp points which can be spent on pvp gear which is stronger against players but weaker against mobs.

Aion was the only game in my opinion that had pvpve perfect ROI Gold maker. Then the pve carebears cried so hard that they started taking it out of the game and the game died. A game without pvp will die very very quickly.

For me, if i want to pvp i would go play Battlefield 4. Pvp in MMO brings to much stress for me like what class i\m facing, what is my current gear and how is my skills set up etc...i have never really enjoyed pvp in any games.
