The creations, thoughts, and ideas of H. P. Lovecraft and the other authors of the Mythos take on a very strong role even today. One cannot read Lovecraft without thinking about the scientific aspects. Various groups also get strong meaningss from the dreams of the man from Providence. To the casual reader this is obviously considered pure fiction, while to others the meanings may have a much more important aspect.

The studies presented below discuss such topics. Those who are inclined to pay more attention to the biographical and literary aspects of Lovecraft's work may not agree fully with these articles.
