Strange, its teeth interlock neatly but stop the jaw closing. Most crocodiles have teeth overlapping their other jaw.
Would make an interesting thing to refer to in Mythos tales - if this is the missing link between crocodiles (and alligators and such) and marine reptiles like Icthysaurus and Plesiosaur, surely other such links exist. How's about the common link between aquatic mammals (whales/dolphins/porpoises) and mammalian reptiles (not too sure of any names off hand)?
