I found this last year, but only recently have been involved more often. This site has anything you could possibly want to know about self-publishing, and skipping the middle man

i know that i'm not the only one who has discovered Lulu.com

i'm familiar with this print on demand site and they've always been helpful, fast, reasonably priced, and quality.

it's what i used to self-publish my Empire of Satanis rpg:

I use lulu.com all the time, especially for doing anthologies.

Maybe we could put out a Temple of Dagon anthology, with the best stuff from all our writers, and illustrations by the artists?

i'd be up for some of that. too busy to bring it all together myself, but i'm happy to donate my writing and paintings.

I could organise it if there's enough people up for it. I've about 80- 90 pages of an anthology gathered together of my own writings, so with a few more volunteers we could get a good couple of hundred pages, I'd say. But I don't really want to host it on my account, as I don't want to give them my bank details, and I think it'd be better if we made a profit from this for something. Maybe we could use it to fund the Temple itself, get Al to set up an account.

i'd suggest a non-profit book, cause then we don't have to worry about it and can keep costs down. if it included some of my stuff, i'd be happy to advertise it on my site, maybe even host it on my lulu account.

The advertising would be good, and I'm willing to work for no profit as well. If you want to send me anything you'd like to include, we can see who else is interested as well.

count me in, if my story is finished in time. i prefer the non-profit approach, just because of my whiney idealistic inner child

I can get some magic rites going into this...I think they would fit nice with lovecraftian stories....

And I am fine working for no profit...

Your own work, Odin, though, if you're going to add any magic - I hear Wiccans sue like bastards.

It's all my own work!
the Wiccans can just bring it on...

Don't tempt them!
If anyone wants to send me anything, either use the PM system here, or email it to me. I don't know how to make PDFs, so it'll be put into a word document. Should there be a section for artwork, or should be interspersed amongst everything else?
I'll divide it up between authors, rather than by any subject matter, I think.
Any other ideas?
