Going into the last round on Sunday chased by Mickelson, Duval, Els and four others is not the most exciting Callaway Diablo Edge driver prospect for most players. But Duffy Waldorf has been there before and he knows how to win in a top quality field, he did last year at The Buick Classic and is aiming for a repeat around Westchester Country Club in New York.

The big guns might just lay back this week Callaway Diablo Edge Irons as it is always a bad sign to win a week before a major, so Waldorf may well find himself defending the Buick title tomorrow in Westchester. The "Duffmeister" fired a 68 to lead the pack on 7-under par for the tournament heading into Sunday in the same place as he was last year, in amongst it.

"I feel I'm just part of the pack with that many guys Callaway Diablo Edge Fairway Woods so close," said Waldorf, who beat Dennis Paulson in a playoff at last year's event. "I can't go in thinking I have a lead to protect. I imagine it will be quite a shootout."

"I think 68 was a great score," Waldorf said. "I played Callaway Diablo Forged Irons solid and didn't get into too much trouble. It was a tough day to play."

Mickelson and Els also shot 68's while Duval carded a 70 to join John Cook , Chris Perry, Joey Sindelar, and Skip Kendall one shot back from Waldorf.

Mickelson, seeking his fourth victory of the year, holed an Callaway Golf 88-yard lob wedge shot for eagle on the par-4 17th.

"That was a nice way to end the round," Mickelson said. "With so many guys clumped up on the leaderboard, it was nice to make up that ground."
