A PR release on the band...

Bracknell Forest Councillor and Conservative parliamentary candidate
for Ceredigion, John Harrison is to take a short break from
campaigning to record an album with the rock band Growing Old
Disgracefully (www.disgracefulmusic.com)

The band, most of whose members live in London, has chosen to record
their debut album, "By the Grace of ..." at Bracknell's South Hill
Park recording studio and will be there on Saturday 16th and Sunday
17th April.

Lead singer and spokesman for the band, Andrew Ian Dodge said,

"We chose the studio because of the excellent recording facilities on
offer for bands and the fact that they were able to cater to our
requirements.  We wouldn't have thought of Bracknell but we looked at
South Hill Park as a possibility because John Harrison was keen to
support and promote Bracknell facilities to the music industry."

Band Members include:
Andrew Ian Dodge (lyricist, frontman and vocalist)
Andrew Ian Dodge has been involved in the music business for over 20
years and is a novelist, computer games consultant and writer.

John Haithwaite(guitars, keyboards, percussion, lyrics)
John is a former member of the band "The Recliners" and works as an IT
consultant.  John will be producing the album.

Rob Mallows(bass and vocals)
Rob works for the CBI in public affairs.

Jonathan Pearce(lyrics and backing vocals)
Jon Pearce works as a journalist.

Also recording with the band will be:

Mitch Benn (guitars, vocals)
Mitch Benn is a stand up and musical comic.  Front man of Mitch Benn
and the Distractions.
Mitch Benn also has his own show on Radio 4 - "Mitch Benn's Crimes
Against Music" and frequently stars on Radio 4's "The Now Show" and
Radio 2's "It's Been a Bad Week".  www.mitchbenn.com

Rosco (guitars and backing vocals)
Rosco is a leading member of the bands Novacaine, Moth and Hablo el Diablo.

I think that ToD types will enjoy at least one of the tracks... To say we are being eclectic and sticking to our guns is an understatement.
