I live in VA, and good God!!!
60mph winds, arctic blasts from beyond Hyperborea!!
it is currently -5degrees F.
only 3 inches of snow though.
I know it's not as bad here as it is up in the New York area, but DAMN!
I'm afraid to look up! I imagine two carmine eyes will be staring down at me!!!
Anyone else enduring this freezing weather!
Feels like the endless gulfs of the void have opened up upon us!!!

It is vital that you stay inside for the reminder of the storm, drink beer and only listen to metal. It's the ONLY way to banish the beast and it's dastardly weather into the Void!

Heck, I live in Northern Maine, Ithaqua is my landlord!
By the way, watch for a peak in birthrates in your area in 9 months. Blizzards tend to do that.

Where is Northern Maine do you live? My parents live in Brunswick. I spent a year at Orono, in the middle of winter that is incredibly bleak.

I live way up in the Caribou/Presque Isle area, (middle of Aroostook County). It does get rather bleak here in winter, but in sort of a pretty way. At least its much prettier than the bleakness in my checking account after I finish paying for all the heating oil we go through

One should embrace Ithaqua: Dread Lord of Snowmobiles and Ice Fishing. Keep him appeased by chucking snowballs at many hapless victims.
Cranking up the metal should be a standard part of any day, regardless of the presence of Great Old Ones (or lack thereof).

Oh you live in "the county"...yeah that is pretty bleak. \
NB: That should have read near Brunswick, my parents live in Harspwell.
