Lost all contacts, photos, and calendar events with update

I had to sync my iphone to a new computer and then did the 4.2 update. When it was all over I had lost all my contacts, photos and calendar events. When i look at my library account it doesn't show any options but music and apps. Is there anyway to get my things back? or I'm I just screwed?
