There were some pretty cool looking caves in some of the pictures. Did you do any spelunking?

no, unfortunately. The caverns have not been developed and the public is not allowed to do that, there are many sinkholes and whanot. The waterfall itself drains back into the caverns, deep beneath the pool, and the undercurrent is frightening. People throw coins in and sometimes you see them spilling out of the waterfall itself. It was pretty nice.
