The Temple of Dagon

Hi all!

I'm doing illustrations for a Lovecraft inspired RPG game, and while I may have read a few H.P stories I'm not that thoroughly versed in the mythos. I'd really appreciate any constructive criticism you guys could give me on these designs. Please, be as brutal as neccesary.

I'd like to note that I don't want to study what others have done with the Mythos, ie, I don't want to be greatly influenced by Call of Cthulhu or the chaosium games artwork or anything like that. That's why any C&C I can get from well versed fans of Lovecraft's work would be extremely helpful.
Basically I want to create original visuals, but I don't want to alienate Lovecraft fans by doing something completely out of step with the Mythos.

So without further ado, here are some of my initial designs for the project.

They are quite good, a little detail on the game perhaps? I am quite a fan of RPG games!

How are you going to distribute the game?

Nice artwork---really like Cthulhu. Last year I mapped out a Lovecraft video game on paper Action/RPG--- need any ideas let me know--- I literally had a vision come to me as I was reading about Tomas Edison---weird
