New Novel Idea!

Hi, guys. I'm thinking of revamping the Cthulhu Mythos so that it appeals to teenage girls. Tell me what you think!
As Cthulhu gets closer to his state of awakening, his dreams become more violent and eventually, he creates a human avatar of himself in human society. Curious about the culture that he is to dominate, he enrolls in the local highschool where he meets a girl called Bella. She immediately falls in love in first sight with him and wanting to avoid attachment, Cthulhu tries to rebuke her. Eventually, she notices a few of the odd traits that have passed from Cthulhu's natural form into this humanoid avatar and she is confronted by a close, old friend who is secretly in love with her and who is secretly Nyarlathotep. He reveals Cthulhu's secret but Bella doesn't care - she simply admits her love for Cthulhu and vows to help him change, so that he will never have to enslave humanity. Touched by her, Cthulhu falls in love with her and vows to change, much to the chagrin of Nyarlathotep.
However, Shub-Niggurath, a former lover of Cthulhu discovers what is going on thanks to the aid of Nyarlathotep, who wishes for Cthulhu's demise. With the secret aid of Nyarlathotep, she attempts to ruin Cthulhu and Bella's relationship but fails miserably, dying in the process. This only brings Cthulhu and Bella closer and causes Bella to rebuke Nyarlathotep when she finds out about how he aided Shub-Niggurath.

I know I took a lot of inspiration from Twilight (my favourite series) but I think this has a lot of promise!
