Merits of Cthulhu being real

Since the Universes hold the potential for infinite possibilities (another discussion entirely) that means that technically speaking Cthulhu has a mathematic probability of being real although the odds of this are unknown.
How do you feel, could Cthulhu be real?

I believe in the Mythos too, so I'd have to say...
Cthulhu is not real. He can't be. Cthulhu is beyond reality. At least partially, since, even though he seems to get all the credit, he's really just a high priest for an alien race on a middle-of-nowhere planet. The god (if such a human notion as god is even remotely close to the right idea-and there are wrong and right ideas) Cthulhu serves, Azathoth, is completely beyond reality.

But that also means that there is a possibility that Uwe Bol makes good movies! Which is something that is beyond the universes ability.

Well they say the when we think we create alternate realities. So in a sense when we ponder about such things in that short time of imagining about it it takes shape through our thoughts. Maybe if enough people think about it at once we can see it take form through some median - Like this!
But back to the original question, Yea sure anything is possible.

Its not our thoughts that are shaping what you call "alternate" realities. It is the ... other realities, and the things which exist without being real, that shape our thoughts.
Hence, let's not use Cthulhu...Yog-Sothoth is not real. He still exists, and he can make himself real at will, and affect what is real, but there is really so little real stuff that it isn't really really in "his" interest to be really real.

You better hope Yog-Sothoth doesn't make himself real, or we're probably all fucked.
