Any thoughts on how I might improve the image? I plan to use it in a piece sometime soon but for now I thought I'd share what I had...

Cool, looks a little too spacey though, I always imagined them as being something along the lines of a black cylinder with a little speaker attached to it...nice work though
P.S I think you only need one more post upgrade...

@EE: There are three plugs, one for a speaker, one for a mike and one for a camera. Since HPL described the material only as "a metal I've never seen before" I suppose it could be any colour
Spacey was what I was striving for. They are from Yuggoth after all...
