Call of Cthulhu RPG, Chaosium or "D20" rulebook, which would be better? And why?

D20. You're going to get more bang for your money, since it's the core rules for like a jillion games.

I've only skimmed D20 rules, but I will say the old Chaosium BRP system (Which CoC is based on) rocks.
Keep in mind that D20's popularity rises from an ingenious marketing ploy--the Open Game License--not by being the best system for all settings.

Another question... Are the Delta Green supplements based on Chaosium or D20 rules (I think they're Chaosium)? And does that matter (can the information be transfered to D20 easily)?

Never looked at DG stuff, myself, but a quick check shows that the latest version of the sourcebook covers both systems. Older supplements probably use the BRP system.

Chaosium is still alive. The Delta Green line is published by a different company.
