Pickman's Model - Night Gallery

I just got my hands on the episode of Night Gallery with 'Pickman's Model'. Expect some info up soon!
I looked it up, and its episode #17, which was from 12-1-71!
Here is the introduction from the narrator:
H. P. Lovecraft - known to the aficionados of the occult, demonology, witchcraft as a master story-teller - is responsible for our first selection in this museum of the frequently morbid. You connoisseurs of the black arts, you'll probably recognize it. It's a painting that tells the story of a young artist who recruits his models from odd places, and the models are very odd indeed. The painters name is Pickman, and the title is 'Pickman's model', and where else would you see a story like this except in the night gallery."

In Pickman's Model I especially liked the painting entitled Subway Accident, (or something like that), which depicted ghouls attacking the commuters. It gave a little insight into how honest Lovecraft believed our govt was, I think.

Interesting thought. I just finished writing the rough draft of the story summary, so in a minute you can check it out if you like and see if its a complete mockery of the original story, or if theres a few good bits in it

Yes.. I have the first season on DVD. It is great
It also includes 'Professor Peabody's Last Lecture' - which is a pretty short one about a teacher who is telling his students about the Necronomicon, and how it is so lame (not his words heh), and the more he reads their names outloud, something interesting happens!
(don't want to give it away!)
Season 2 was supposed to be out by now, and it may be.. I have not checked in a while..
