Yes that is my understanding and they would be confused as one oncept in this way

I voted for Yog-Sothoth because he seems to be the most multi-dimensional by nature, and so at least my doom would be a little more interesting(and excruciating, I'm sure)! I've read some Brian Lumley, such as Khai of Ancient Khem, The Burrowers Beneath and The Transition of Titus Crow, but never the Necroscope books; are they "mythos" at all, not that it really matters.

Well no ,not really, but they fit in with the general theme of the mythos in a rather pleasnat way and could be tied in with a quick chapter or two...

Not erxactly similar, but they appeal in the same way...definitely the better of lumleys works...
