Allright, let's ROCK.

First things first, lets create ourselves a WikiAccount (one per person unless you REALLY know what you are doing with those extra accounts and Tobago proxies, wiki community is MEAN to so-called sockpuppeting, and for a reason)

The usernames should have @TOD or @templeofdagon in them so we can easily identify each other.

Then, we should create a wiki page devoted to Temple of Dagon Wikipedia Editorial Group and fill it with some content...

content...

Content suggestions, anyone?

as with the previous wiki project, i recommend starting with a finite focus. for instance, if we deal exclusively with the mythos writing of hpl, we could build a comprehensive 'kernel' of fundamentals which then could be the basis for evaluating the works of other authors, and other derivative cultural phenomena.

same with CoC forum

This forum is dying. We need to make it popular! Promote it!
yes, i often feel the same way about mine. it's frustrating at times, but one can hope that effort will be rewarded. keep hope alive! if you do find a sure-fire way of promoting the EoD forum, then please let me know.

Hi people!

Was stalking here for so damn long.

Noticed this topic and decided to give you... well, a first wiki article to improve (in fact, it is a deletion candidate so it is a question of article's "survival" ;) )

I loved those Cthulhu amulets (BTW, alex, check PM) and decided to write a short wikistub on it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu_Amulet.
However, it turned out not sourced enough to survive, and it will be removed if more some good-quality "verifiable" sources are not made available soon.

I am Belorussian and have little access to the matter, so, a_lex, please, try finding better sources, you are Russian so you might actualy find something.

If anyone has any good sources that fit the "Cthulhu Amulet" wiki article, please put them there.

Okay, SomeGuy.

I (AlexeyTOD in Wikipedia) will see if I can help finding more sources...I remember this thing popped up at some printed catalog. Looking for it now.

Besides, Shoggoth is 100% a source (they DO harass ppl with "editor review)

So it turns out the Wiki forum here isn't locked after all, that was the Unfilmable forum. What happened to it and Pickman anyways?
Well, I agree with JJ. My idea would be to use the Wiki forum to communicate planned edits and overhauls before ballsing about on Wikipedia, and pool together your information to make sure it's all right - it saves a lot of unnecessary gnome work on the wiki. Take it an article or two at a time. If you want something to work on, the Mythos references in Wikipedia use a really clunky abbreviation system which can be pretty unsettling to cross-reference. Prehaps linking as many of the abbreviations as is possible to articles about the relevant stories could be done.
