Hi all,

I've just revisited Dunwich, this time staying at the old 'Dunwich Ship Inn' pub in the village.

Returning after a year, and the place still has a permeable sense of strangeness and what I can only describe as bleak 'grey-ness'.

See below for a few more shots of my trip, and also a rapidshare link to a brief film I took too, if anyone's interested.

'My Dunwich Horror' - NTSC VCD MPEG Movie (1.45min/18mb)

A brief film of my last tour of Dunwich, incorporating shots of the old fishing boats, rusting winches and sheds of the beach area, to the old Monastery, onto the church, and then to the neighbouring Leper Colony.

I hope you like it - the editing isn't to be taken too seriously. I just tried to capture a child-like essence of swirling, giddy horror! (thanks to the original chap who created the sound file - I've lost his name, sorry!).

(I assume you all know how to download from Rapidshare  )

Feedback always welcome.

Cheers,

Phillip Jr.

Ahh! The mole people!
And I had no idea there was a leper colony anywhere in England.

That photograph of the road into Dunwich in particular is stunning. I'm going to have a fiddle with the settings on my camera and maybe buy a tripod. I was initially inspired by the photo's created by the darkambient artist Vinterriket but these are amazing too...

Still not been to Dunwich myself... went t stonehenge & avebury for the summer solstice which was awesome but too many people really to take moody photographs of any standard.

Can someone explain how to download from rapidshare?... I'm not sure if you have to pay or not?... I want to see the movie!

yeah, there's a choice at the bottom between 'premium' and 'free' downloading... click free, choose the server, type the security letters, and there she be.

Thank you Rodr-Evil!

I see that, after a while away from the board, my little amateur film is no longer on rapidshare.

For those interested and not yet seen it, here's a direct link to it..

I will be delving into the world of horror again soon (though 'social horror' mostly), with repellent subject matters sometimes explored on my gallery/blog here...

Thanks again for everyone's feedback. It is really most appreciated.

Kind regards,

Phil.
